When can I begin to see my chameleon houttuynia begin to pop through the ground here in NJ? I planted 25 of your plants last fall and have no signs of them as of yet. |
This plant comes up very late in the spring, just about the last thing to come up, almost when you have givn up hope. So try to be patient. Once it does kick into growth, it is very vigorous if kept evenly moist. In a wetter soil, it may even grow to the point of invasiveness. |
