The Q&A Archives: Trying To Find A Cut Flower Called Gas Plant

Question: I recently saw a show highlighting cut flowers. I am trying to find one of the flowers highlighted. I don't know the latin name, but they called it the gas plant. I am not sure if it is an annual or perennial.

Answer: Gas plant is Dictamnus albus, a perennial that is also commonly called Fraxinella. A plant source database search came up with the following possibilities. This is not our database, so I don?t know how current it is. You will need to check with the nurseries directly for availability. Good luck!
