| When and how do I plant pumpkin seeds for Halloween? |
| Sow pumpkin seeds after the last spring frost, 2-3 to a hill, in hills 4-5 feet apart. A shovel of compost in each hill would be helpful. Plant the seeds about an inch deep. You can also start them indoors 2-3 weeks before that last frost and set them out after they've started their growth. Keep them weeded until the plants begin to create vines which will block out the weeds. |
