| You're in USDA zone 9 and Sunset Western Garden Book's zone 17. I like Sunset Western Garden Book's treatment of growing zones - they've taken into consideration elevation and proximity to bodies of water, both of which can create microclimates. If you not already familiar with the book, check one out at your local library. It's a terrific reference! |
