Question: I just purchased Tatarian Honeysuckle Arnold Red. In doing some research on the web I have found that lonicera tatarica is listed as an exotic invasive in many places. Would I be risking the environment by planting this shrub?

Answer: Honeysuckle is a vigorously growing plant and under the right conditions might be considered invasive. However, growing conditions in the Pacific Northwest keep honeysuckle under control.
