Can I grow Maiden Grass (Miscanthus sinensis gracillimus) in partial shade?? I get sun off and on during the day.

This grass prefers full sun all day long but will tolerate some shade. For best results, you would want it to receive at least six hours of good strong sun including the hour of noon. When grown in excess shade the plant tends to be thin and does not bloom well. You might try it and see if you are happy with the results.
