Citrus trees are broadleaf evergreens, and it's normal for some of the older leaves to drop as new leaves emerge in the spring. If your Calamondin is producing new growth, and otherwise looks healthy, the leaf loss is probably normal. If the foliage looks wilted, or is off-color, then the leaf drop is a symptom of some stressful condition - perhaps over or under-watering, over or under-fertilization, cold drafts, or not enough sunshine. You might also check your Calamondin carefully for signs of insects. Best wishes with your tree!
