The Q&A Archives: Pruning Hydrangea

Question: The flowers are dying on my Hydrangea Plant and I don't know where I should cut them off...i.e. at the bottom of the flowering part or at the bottom of the plant. Thanks for your help!!!

Answer: Trim them off by cutting just above a leaf. You can reach down into the plant to cut them so that you don't leave bare stubs sticking out.
