Which are the two best varieties (if any) of blueberries which will grow in San Francisco? I live in a relatively mild (eg less fog and wind with higher temps) area of the city.

Blueberries need sun and cool, moist, acid soil that drains well. Choose low-chill types; these will generally be high bush types. Some that should thrive in the San Francisco area are 'Berkeley', 'Bluecrop', 'Collins', and 'Darrow' (according to "Golden Gate Gardening by Pam Peirce, pub. by agAccess, Davis, CA 1993). You'll get better fruit production if you plant more than one variety.
