| Burpee offers seed tapes of many popular varieties of both vegetables and flowers. Using them doesn't necessarily eliminate the need for thinning, but it reduces the time, effort and loss involved in thinning hand-sown plantins. You'll find them listed in the Spring 1998 catalog - be sure to request one from the Burpee Website. |
