I just bought a purple coral bell. The dogs stepped on it and broke it right off. Will this coral bell regrow this season? or next??

If the dogs broke off the tall stem with flowers on it, it is possible it will send up another stem this summer. Certainly it should not affect its blooming next summer at all.

If the dogs broke off the crown portion of the plant, meaning the stems and foliage at the base of the plant, and left only the roots in place, then there may be a problem.

Coral bells are pretty tough plants, but I am not certain they can withstand that kind of damage. On the other hand, if it were mine, I would go ahead and plant what is left and hope for the best. Sometimes plants can do amazing things to survive. Good luck with your coral bells.
