I bought some icee blue junipers at a local nursery. Another nursery owner told me that some of the blue junipers are susceptable to phomopsis disease. He wasn't sure about icee blue's susceptability to this disease. Can you give me your opinion about this?

Phomopsis, the fungus that causes twig blight, is a common problem for junipers of all sorts. Your best defense is to cut away any infected twigs before fungal spores have an opportunity to spread to other parts of the plant. Icee Blue Juniper carries the same risk of developing the disease as other varieties of juniper. Hope this information is helpful!
