I have a Kalmianum Hypericum shrub that bloomed just a little bit in the summer and is full of flower buds now, but they don't want to seem to open up. It flowered during the heat of the summer, but just has big, fat buds on it now. It gets average water, about 2-3 times weekly with a hose? What do I need to do? |
Since the plant bloomed earlier in the season (typically it blooms in July), I think what you are seeing now is the fruit crop looking like fat buds. They should remain on the shrub and eventually change color, ultimately looking almost like little chocolates. |
