I have several Silver Mound Artemisia plants and was wondering if they die back for the winter or do they stay the same silver-green as they currently are?

These artemesias will die back to the ground in the winter and should be trimmed off short once frost has killed them back. They will regrow from the roots next spring. In my experience, the winter effect is pretty minimal.
