What is the tallest crepe myrtle. I read Natchez gets 30 to 35 feet tall. But your catalog says 25 ft. I want to prune up the bottom so we can see the golf course from the living area (second floor built up because of flood zone) but block the apartments across the lagoon.

Plants are usually described as growing within a range of heights and widths because they are variable depending on the growing conditions. They will reach larger sizes in optimum conditions but will stay smaller where conditions are less amenable to growth. Of course, it also takes a number of years for any tree to reach its full height. If you need a very specific height, you might be more satisfied with a lattice panel and a flowering vine or perhaps a series of hanging plants and window boxes to make an instant screen. Your local professional nursery staff might also have some suggestions as to what might grow best in the location and size range you have in mind.
