what can I plant in place of pink petunias? Must be pink and around same size as petunias, full to mostly sun

You could try dwarf snapdragons, a shorter full-growing zinnia such as Cherry Profusion, a diascia, or even a pink flowered vinca. If the soil is kept evenly moist, you could also try a fibrous rooted pink bedding begonia. For best results with all of these, make sure your soil is well prepared with ample organic matter and is of average fetility or better. I hope this gives you some ideas.
