I have a clematis on one side of the building entrance where there is sun. What could I plant on the other side where there is no sun.

Unfortunately, most flowering vines really prefer at least some sunlight if not sun all day long. You might experiment with a climbing hydrangea, however keep in mind that this plant can take several years to become established and then several more years before it decides to bloom. Alternatively perhaps a shade tolerant evergreen such as Japanese holly could balance the look, "Skypencil" is very upright and narrow and can fit into a tight location. Its delicate looking, finer textured foliage is adaptable to many styles.
