The Q&A Archives: Good Landscape Design Books

Question: What books would you recommend for landscape design in the Midwest. Also good plant (perennials, shrubs, trees, and grasses) books.

Answer: Luckily for you, the University of Missouri extension service offers many excellent publications geared toward home landscaping and plant selection. These would be a great place to start. Also, the Missouri Botanical Garden offers display gardens and outreach eduction. Both have web sites with lots of information, too.
