What books would you recommend for landscape design in the Midwest. Also good plant (perennials, shrubs, trees, and grasses) books.

Luckily for you, the University of Missouri extension service offers many excellent publications geared toward home landscaping and plant selection. These would be a great place to start. Also, the Missouri Botanical Garden offers display gardens and outreach eduction. Both have web sites with lots of information, too.

Kemper Center (Plant Finder is excellent plant by plant information)

Horticulture Publications -- MU

YOu may need to cut and paste the url into your browser to make it work correctly. Good luck with your landscaping!
