Would appreciate any info on what perennial flowering vine will grow on a trellis in part to full shade.

In my experience, the best flowering vines for a trellis in partial shade are the clematis, although they would mostly prefer more sun than shade. In shadier locations, the best clematis would be the fragrant, white, fall blooming sweet autumn clematis. I'm sorry I can't think of a wider selection for you. Perhaps some hanging pots of colorful annuals could provide the color you need along the trellis instead of a flowering vine.
