Hello.

I bought a Crabapple tree (don't know the particular kind) and I planted it right before the previous spring. The fruit appear nice and healthy. However, a big percentage of the leaves have a combination of orange/yellow/brown spots (one within the other) on them.

What does this mean? Do I need to treat it? How do I treat it?

Also, does pruning the tree help for general better growth?

One more question. The tree is supposed to have purpelish leaves (according to the picture that came with the tree). The leaves however are green. I have however seen recently a few new leaves which are indeed purpelish. Will all the leaves change to that color?
