The Q&A Archives: Kolkwizia Amablis Berry Color

Question: Does kolkwitzia amabilis have fall berries that are lavender?

Answer: Unfortunately, the best photo I can find in a quick search is not very close up but Kolkwitzia flowers fade and leave behind a sort of fuzzy looking or bristly brownish tan cluster containing seeds inside. They stay on the plant into the winter and are used as an indentifying characteristic.
