I dug up my bougainvillea from my garden to bring it inside. I placed it in a pot a little larger than the original pot, and now the leaves are drying up - help!

This plant really objects to being transplanted as well as being moved from one location to another, so what you are seeing is a typical reaction. It may defoliate completely and unfortunately, it may just die outright. Take care not to overwater it, move it indoors gradually, once indoors keep it in the brightest possible location and be patient with it. In future if you plan to keep it from year to year you may have better luck maintaining it in a container instead of planting it in the ground. Good luck with your bougainvillea.
