Would the pink jasmine survive New Jersey winters? I am interested in planting a long row of them to cover a chainlink fence. |
Unfortunately, pink jasmine would not be hardy for you. To cover chainlink you could consider other hardier flowering vines such as clematis (the fall blooming sweet autumn clematis is a large vine and would cover a large area quickly) or perhaps trumpet creeper (Campsis radicans) or annual vines such as morning glories. |
