Your Tibochina (Princess Flower) should be pruned in early spring before new growth begins. Prune out leggy growth or misplaced branches first, then pinch or prune back the branch tips. Flowers form on the ends of new branches, so to encourage several flushes of bloom each season, be sure to pinch out the branch tips after the flowers fade.
