Is it too late to plant garlic in the snows of northern Vermont?

Even with snow on the ground, I don't think you've missed your window of opportunity to plant garlic - unless the ground is frozen and digging is impossible. I'd go ahead and plant the garlic - spring is a long way off and it's not likely to keep that long. If you decide not to plant it, store your garlic in a cool, dark location and enjoy it in your favorite recipes.
