Marguerite daisies prefer well-drained, non-acid soil and love sunny locations. They can be grown from seeds, but won't bloom until the second year. Water amply throughout summer months to prevent soil from drying out. Will tolerate dry soil for short periods. Although plants do best in full sun, they may need filtered afternoon shade in very hot areas during summer. Deadhead spent blossoms to prolong flowering.
