The Q&A Archives: Leaves Turning Dark Purplish Brown And Dropping Off

Question: the leaves on my tangerine beauty crossvine are turning a purplish brown, then yellowing and dropping off. Is this normal or is something wrong?

Answer: This would be fairly typical, the foliage shows some fall coloring in response to lower temperatures and may go ahead and fall off completely; the vine is considered only semi-evergreen for this reason.
