You didn't specify whether you were interested in climbers, groundcovers or shrub roses, so I'm including suggestions for the two most popularly grown rose types (rugosa and shrub). The following suggestions are based on results reported after 3 years of trials at the Horticulture Research Center in South Burlington. These roses successfully grew inspite of summer drought and frigid winter temperatures.

'Canary Bird' (yellow), 'Magnifica' (pink-red), and 'Seven Sisters' (pink) and the best shrub roses.

'Delicata' (lilac pink), 'Gootendorst Supreme' (red), 'Hansa' (red-purple), 'Mont Blanc' (white), 'Monte Casino' (pink), 'Schneekoope' (white), 'Sir Thomas Lipton' (white), and 'Therese Bugnet' (pink) are the best performing groundcover type roses.

Hope this information is helpful!
