The Q&A Archives: Clematis

Question: Any winter precautions for my clematis?

Answer: Most clematis are thoroughly winter hardy so you should not need to do anything extraordinary. You might want to put a generous layer of mulch over the root zone (but not up against the stems) especially if it is a new plant. Enjoy your clematis!
