I have a dwarf lime, in a container and it has produced two limes that are developing nicely. There are a few others beginning to form, one of which is about an inch in diameter.

My question is...is there a way to tell when is the best time to harvest the fruit?

Thanks

Dan

Leave your citrus fruit on the tree for as long as possible, because the fruit sweetens up while on the plant. You won't have to guess when they're ready to harvest - limes will drop from the tree when ripe.

Enjoy your homegrown limes!
