I addition to its normal fruit my Eureka lemon tree produces some very odd shaped fruit. Can you tell me what causes this condition and how should I treat it? Thank you.

Odd shaped fruit on citrus trees can be the result of inconsistent watering practices, poor pollination, or insects feeding inside the blossom (which is where the fruit is produced). If most of the fruit is normal in shape, the misshapen fruits are probably due to incomplete pollination. You'll notice this problem more often if you experience periods of wet weather when your tree is in blossom. There's not much you can do to prevent it; the fruit is still edible. Enjoy!
