Hellebore or lenten rose (eg Helleborus niger) can be planted in very early spring if obtained bare root, or any time the soil can be dug if obtained as a container grown plant that has been growing outdoors and is thus acclimated to the current weather.

They are frequently available during the growing season in nurseries that carry a broad line of perennials, as well as by mail order catalogs such as Wayside Gardens

and others. Shipping will vary depending on the nursery, but most would probably ship this one throughout the spring.

You might find the zip code locator at the Monrovia web site helpful to locate nurseries in your area that might stock it this coming season.

Please note you may need to cut and paste the url into your browser to make it work correctly. Good luck with your search!
