| Your kiwi is cuttings grown. Kiwi is a vining plant, and while you can trim it to one main trunk and then rub any developing buds off to keep the main shoot bare, I'd suggest allowing both shoots on your plant to continue to grow. (Just in case something terrible happens to the remaining shoot!) After your kiwi is well established you can cut off all but one main vine and train new shoots over or onto a supporting trellis. |
