There is some kind of a fungus on all the Olive trees in Fontana , CAlif at least I was told. Someone came ny that wanted to buy all of our olives and he said they were no good and all the trees he had looked at had the same problem. He also stated that it was easily treated. I was wondering if you knew how I was refered to you by a landscaper who said you knew what to do to rid the trees of the problem. We live in a house that use to be surrounded by Olive groves, we still have about 10 trees and I would love to be able to use the olives one year the olives were the biggest olives I had ever seen , they are black olives. Any help you could be would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Melinda

Without knowing the name of the disease affecting your olive trees, it's difficult to make suggestions for control. If it is a widespread problem within your county, your best source of information will be from the University of California Cooperative Extension office. Contact them locally at 909-387-2171. Best wishes with your olive trees!
