| Wish I could help you find a picture of Red Elf, but I've exhausted my resources to no avail. Escallonia 'Red Elf' is a dense, spreading shrub to 8' tall and 12' wide, with inch-long, dark glossy green leaves and short clusters of deep red flowers. It's a hardy shrub with no special pest problems or maintenance requirements. You can prune annually for shape if you desire, removing about one-third of the growth each time you prune to keep it looking neat and trim. |
