What is a good substitute for Bambusa multiplex "Riviereorum" (Chinese Goddess) bamboo? For growing in pots. |
How about dwarf whitestripe (Phyllostachys variegata) which tops out at about 2' in height, or p. nigra (black bamboo) at 4'-8' in height. Another suggestion is Bambusa ventricosa (Buddha's Belly) which grows only 3'-6' tall. All will grow well in containers. |
