Do astilbes come back in the spring? Right now mine are just sticks in the ground. Thank you. I love your service.

Astilbe are herbaceous perennials - the tops die down in the winter months. As soon as the soil warms in the spring, the roots will spring back to life and produce new foliage. Be patient - your astilbe will begin to sprout new leaves in a very few weeks!
