Answer: French Lavender is not a culinary lavender and it doesn't have that great English Lavender fragrance,it blooms from spring to frost, and both the foliage and the flowers have a nice clean smell. Prune it lightly in the spring, then again in mid-summer and once again in late fall. Remove only a few inches of growth from each stem. Pruning back will encourage additional branching and lots more flowers. Enjoy!
