Hemerocallis (daylilies) are some of the easiest perennials to grow, and have some of the most beautiful flowers. There are deciduous and evergreen hybrids, so if you're interested in foliage all year around, try 'Joan Senior' (white flower with yellow throat), 'Little Business' (raspberry red), 'Stella de Oro' (yellow), and 'Fairy Tale Pink'.

If you don't mind the foliage dying down over the winter months, grow 'Siloam Gumdrop', 'Swirling Waters', or 'Pink Playmate'. All are reliable re-bloomers, providing a long season of color in your garden.
