I have ordered one of your Ilex aquifolium "argenteo-marginata". I am looking for a solid green holly to pollinate it. What do you recommend? Also, how close must it be planted?

You'll need another English holly to pollinate your variegated English holly. Ilex aquifolium 'Balkans' or 'Teufel's Deluxe' are good choices for your growing region and each has deep, dark green leaves. Since insects will be transferring pollen, make it easy on them and plant your hollies within 100' of one another.
