I have looked and looked for a graceful looking deer shaped topiary with realistic looking antlers. I know that they exist because I have seen them before, however now that Iam ready to purchase one or two I am unable to find one. I am looking for a life sized ivy or vine sphagnum topiary already potted and grown do you have any idea where I can find this? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

It's true, there are animal shaped topiaries, but these are generally grown on-site rather than grown in a nursery and shipped. Large or intricately shaped topiaries can take 5-10 years to complete and a finished one can be horribly expensive. Something like a deer, with four feet on the ground, usually starts out as four separate shrubs trained to meet in the middle and then expand out to form the body, head, and antlers. I'm not aware of any source for a full-sized deer, but you might try checking with landscape designers in your area. They just might know a topiary specialist who can help you out. Best wishes with your search!
