Leptospermum laevigatum, the Australian Tea Tree, is an evergreen with oval or teardrop shaped dull green leaves and grows to 30' tall and wide. It thrives in full sunshine, well-draining acidic soil, and it requires little to no water. It needs minimal pruning and has no particular insect or disease problems. It's an easy-maintenance street tree.
