| Ceanothus, called California wild lilac, is an evergreen shrub with dark green, leathery leaves. Each branch tip produces a small spike of lovely blue flowers in the springtime. Ceanothus prefers full sunshine and needs very little water during the growing season. Prune lightly after bloom to keep the shrubs in shape. |
