| Aside from the climbing hydrangea (H. anomala petiolaris), H. aspera is the tallest, widest, fastest growing hydrangea. This shrub reaches 10'-12' in both height and width, producing purplish to pink or blue flowers. H. a. sargentiana has larger flower clusters in light purple; H. a. villosa has blue or purple flowers. |
