| Each of the plants you mention will adapt to growing in a container. Be sure to use fresh potting soil when transplanting, and choose containers with adequate drainage holes. Plants in containers often need to be fed and watered more frequently than the same plants planted in the garden. Water as often as necessary to keep the soil from becoming too dry. I fertilize my containerized plants on a weekly basis, using a quarter-strength dilution of a liquid fertilizer.
