Traveler's Palm is Ravenala madagascariensis. It's native to Madagascar and grows in an upright clump 30'-40' tall and 25'-30' wide, with numerous large, banana-like leaves held upright in the shape of a gigantic fan atop an unbranched trunk. It's a spectacular specimen, but difficult to find. Now that you know the botanical name, you might try contacting nurseries in your area specializing in tropical plants. They may be able to locate one for you. Best wishes in your search!
