I want my creeping fig to cover my ugly cement wall. Should I keep it attached to the post or release the twisty ties?

Thanks,

Rob

Creeping fig will generally attach itself to either rough or smooth surfaces by growing little suction cup pegs. It usually isn't necessary to tie it in place. I'd untwist the ties and let it climb up the wall on its own. Because the vines are accustomed to growing up a support, they may fall down to the ground, or they may continue to hold on to the support. In either event, new growth will find its way to the wall because creeping fig loves to grow upward. Best wishes with your creeping fig!
