I just received a Meyer Lemon Tree from Monrovia and had a question regarding the growing of it in an indoor Sub-tropical climate. I currently have it under an HPS light to support natural sunlight 12 hours a day. Is that the right thing to do or will the colors of the HPS bulb mess up the natural growth cycle of the lemon producing? Should the tree be going dormant for the winter? |
are sub-tropical and in their natural environment will grow all year around, setting up to four flushes of flowers and fruit each year. You can expect your tree to remain evergreen and productive 12 months of the year.
