Here are a few suggestions for small trees with fragrant blossoms: Chionanthus, the fringe tree, with 4" long white blossoms in the spring; Malus (flowering crabapple) with springtime flowers in pink and white; Prunus (flowering plum) with pink flowers; and Magnolia (dwarf species) with white saucer-shaped fragrant flowers. Hope these suggestions include something that appeals to you!
