Petunias, like any other plant, can develop insect and disease problems if growing conditions are poor. To ensure your petunias remain healthy, plant them in well-draining soil in full sunshine. Water deeply when soil begins to dry out, and feed with a 10-10-10 garden fertilizer as directed on the label. To keep your plants compact and blooming at their best, pinch out dead flowers along with some of the flower stem.

Best wishes with your garden!
